HYALURONAN

What is it?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound in our bodies.
It is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix: a three-dimensional network of extracellular macromolecules, such as collagen, enzymes, and other important proteins, that provide structural and biochemical support to the surrounding cells.
It is therefore indispensable for cellular skeletal structure.

The Properties

Keeps moisture in the eyes, lubricates joints, reduces inflammation, helps heal wounds, maintains cellular hydration and young, healthy skin.

It has been shown in clinical studies to promote the skin's natural barrier function. As with other substances, hyaluronic acid is produced in lesser amounts as we age.People 40 and older have half as much HA in their bodies as those in their 20s.
